The Art Residency 2014 took place in Atina, Italy from 31 July - 13 of August 2014. This was co-organised by myself (project manager) and Rekha Sameer (lead curator) and Massimiliano Battista (local facilitator).

 

My responsibilities included:

 

• coordinating communication 

• translation of written and oral information (Italian/English)

• securing the venue for accommodation and exhibition

• designing advertising material

• organizing marketing in local newspapers and through local newsletters

• writing the press release

• facilitating transport to and from the residency

• providing general information on the location

• installation logistics of exhibition

• managing the budget and finances
