The artists as the author is put into question with three different approaches.

 

• Strategic collaboration where no role is determined beforehand according to skill or knowledge.

 

• Appropriation of photographic source material, placing the artist in the seat of the copyist or collector rather than originator.

 

•  Adopting the role of amateur rather than professional, who puts emphasis on the imperfections caused by the errors made by rudimentary use of the technical process.
