The Belly Button of the Moon - 2018.jpg

'During her residence at Museo Leonora Carrington San Luis Potosí, Natasha Sabatini produced a series of works that focus on the relationship between the micro and the macro, a subject close to Leonora Carrington, who once said: 'The task of the right eye is to peer into the telescope, while the left eye peers into the microscope.' Sabatini also conducted a workshop that addressed how Carrington understood the kitchen as a productive space, where notions of gender, creativity and transformation could be explored and subverted.'

Antonio García Acosta

Director del Museo Leonora Carrington San Luis Potosí
