In the case of the shows HOME IS WHERE THE ART IS and TRASH I curated the shows by establishing a theme and venue for the exhibition. Intreast was in seeing how the placement of the chosen art work would form a dialogue on a subject.

 

 

In TRASH finished works were preselected to form a shown. In HOME IS WHERE THE ART IS the artists were asked to respond to the theme with an artwork of their choice.

 

 

In the exhibition at the CRYPT GALLERY ST PANCREAS each artist responded to the place and its context.

 

 

On these three occasions I experienced being the artist in the show as well as taking on the role of curator. In these cases I had to think of my own work and take into account that of all participating artists. Holding a more distanced perspective of everyone's work and how this related to one another.
